This Hudson Valley restaurant is one of NYC’s top foodie spots

If you’re always keeping things fresh and changing the menu all the time, a Hudson Valley restaurant is among the top 15 restaurants in the state.

Under the leadership of Only In Your State, the top 15 restaurants include the Ship To Shore American Bistro in Ulster County’s Kingston, where real foodies are frequent and the chefs are keen on the community.

Owned by Chef Samir Hrichi, Ship to Shore is known for its Mediterranean flavors and for only local farms and vendors filling the huge kitchen, which is busy year-round creating down-to-earth food with modern influences.

One of the favorites of the restaurant, which has been open since 1998 (depending on the time of year), is the Sunday brunch, which is filled with a variety of seafood, chicken and waffles, salads, steak and eggs, and simple products like avocado toast.

Yelpers use words like “awesome,” “awesome” and “elegant” to describe the restaurant, which also offers al fresco dining overlooking the Kingston waterfront.

The words “try the steaks” are a common phrase on Yelp, so give the steak a try.

And if the restaurant hits the state’s top 15, it’s definitely worth a visit.

The restaurant is located on 15 W Strand St. in Kingston.
