The best Bermudian fashion stylist, Shiona Turini, who worked on Beyonce’s Formation video, was featured in the New York Times’ T Magazine.

Ms. Turini was selected as the first influencer to be featured in the first issue of the fashion magazine’s beauty column on Sunday. She described the products she uses as part of her beauty regimen.

She mentioned Bermuda briefly in an interview and said, “I like the Whipped Body Butter from Salt Spray Soap Co., which I top up every time I go home to Bermuda (I’m a real island girl).”

T Magazine has a readership of 4.4 million people.

Ms. Turini is a consultant, stylist, and costume designer who has had a brilliant career in fashion magazines and commercial styling, music videos, and the red carpet.

She worked with Solange Knowles on her black women videos titled “Don’t Touch My Hair” and “Cranes in the Sky”.

She was an editor for The Cut for New York Magazine and advised and designed the Bermuda Tourism Authority and brands such as Christian Dior and Elle.com.

She has worked as a costume designer at HBO’s Insecure and Universal Pictures Queen & Slim, which earned her a nomination for the Costume Designers Guild Award.
