Police: three lifeless, 1 injured in suicide in New York state

SCHODACK, NY (AP) – Police were investigating a double homicidal suicide in a house in New York state Thursday.

The three unidentified people were killed at around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in a house in Schodack, about 10 miles southeast of Albany. Another victim was hospitalized with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound on the arm, according to the state police.

The police did not disclose the relationships, if any, between the victims. Police said they did not think there was any danger to the public.

The investigation continued.

“We’ll look at neighborhood interviews, family friends, background information, some employment relationships and staff,” said State Police Captain Richard O’Brien.
