OSRS Barrows Guide For Beginners
The Barrows Brothers were six legendary warriors who conquered Morytania during the God Wars. In RuneScape, they are located in burial mounds next to Sanguinesti region of Morytania where players may raid their tombs and fight ghostly versions of them. If you want to efficiently farm this minigame then continue reading this OSRS Barrows Guide for more information on how it works!
The Barrows Brothers
Guthan the Infested – Guthan uses Melee but is weak to Magic, Guthan’s special ability is the chance to heal his own health on a successful attack.
Dharok the Wretched – Dharok is known to use Melee and is weak to Magic. His most well-known special ability grants him higher strength as his hit points go close to zero.
Verac the Defiled – Verac uses Melee but is weak to Magic. He has the ability to ignore a player’s protection prayers.
Ahrim the Blighted – Beware the wretched Ahrim! His Magic will drain your stats, but he is tweaked to ranged attacks.
Torag the Corrupted – Torag uses Melee but is weak to Magic. He can reduce your run energy if given the chance.
Karil the Tainted – Karil uses Ranged but is weak to Melee. Karil’s special ability is to reduce your agility level.
Recommended Gear For Barrows
If you want to be well-rounded, the best solution is a balanced attack style. Different people have different preferences when it comes down to choosing an attack strategy; some find that using ranged attacks is more advantageous in certain situations and others rely on melee combat for greater accuracy. When considering your gear setup, however, I would highly recommend building up both magic spells as well as physical weapons so that they can complement each other instead of being redundant if one becomes unavailable during battle.
Your inventory should primarily contain your spade, runes or Rune Pouch, teleport tablets, and weapon switches. The rest of the inventory should be reserved for prayer potions if needed (and super restores), high-healing food like sharks to recover from any damage you take while fighting the Barrows Brothers. Make sure to buy OSRS items first before taking this challenge.
