New York Yankees Information: Is There One other Pitcher That Makes Sense?

MLB.com | Matt Kelly: Blake Snell, Yu Darvish, and Lance Lynn have already been treated this winter, and there are a few more starters on the trading bloc that make up for an otherwise lackluster free-agent class. The Yankees have already asked about Luis Castillo of the Reds, and it makes perfect sense given their competitive window and roster construction.

CBS Sports | RJ Anderson: The Yankees had a busy weekend and inked DJ LeMahieu and Corey Kluber to prop up the roster for 2021. The question that remains is how many other deals the team can close given their salary commitments. Any further acquisition without a pay cut would likely push the team past the first CBT line of $ 210 million, but the roster still has positions to be filled. Brian Cashman’s job isn’t done yet.

Yahoo! Sport | Andy Martino: Corey Kluber is a Yankee, which is pretty crazy to think about. Martino goes into the mechanics of how such a signature came about and what he could provide for a Yankee rotation desperately looking for weapons. Like the link above, the final roster is not set and still needs help, but Kluber could go a long way to helping if they stayed on the field.
