LYSANDER, NY (WSYR-TV) – At least 20 animals are dead after a fire at Purpose Farm on Monday, according to New York State Police.
Purpose Farms is located at 1454 West Genesee Rd. In Lysander. New York State Police said it looked like a malfunctioning heating element caused the fire.

The animals on the farm include donkeys, birds, pigs, goats and alpacas.
The family has a generator from 9.10 p.m., but they still accept donations.
