New York State launches a website dedicated to cannabis management

NEW YORK – New York State launched a new website for the State Office of Cannabis Management on Friday.

The site is designed to provide resources for individuals searching for medical cannabis practitioners, caregivers, and medical cannabis ID cards, as well as companies seeking a license to participate in the adult, medical, and cannabinoid hemp industry.

“Legalizing cannabis was the first step in this historic quest to correct past wrongs,” said Governor Cuomo. “The Office of Cannabis Management’s website provides vital preliminary information pending the establishment of the Cannabis Control Board on the future of this industry, as well as resources for individuals and businesses seeking information on the future of cannabis in New York State. The website describes the comprehensive information Reforms that this legislation puts in place and I know they will be a valuable resource for many as we move forward. “

The website will also educate the public about the regulatory structure of the Office of Cannabis Management, which, together with the Cannabis Control Board, governs the licensing, cultivation, production, distribution, sale, and taxation of adult medical cannabinoid hemp in the state of New York monitors.
