SCHUYLERVILLE – On Saturday, December 19, Girl Scouts from the northeast New York Forces participated in Wreaths Across America, a national initiative honoring veterans. More than 25 girls from the Clifton Park Service Unit laid thousands of wreaths on markings in the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.

Wreaths across America began in Arlington National Cemetery in 1992. Now hundreds of thousands of wreaths are placed on veterans graves in national and state cemeteries every December to remind people to remember, honor, and teach about our nation’s veterans and their families.
