In style Meals Community Star opens a take-away restaurant in New York

Guy Fieri, the star of the Food Network, has a new restaurant in upstate New York.

Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Kitchen in Colonie, just outside Albany, opened on Thursday, February 25th.

Flavortown is uniquely operational during a pandemic. It is only offered to take away and the chefs work in a “ghost kitchen”. A ghost kitchen is when a company operates from an existing restaurant.

The location in the hinterland is the second restaurant in the state “Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives”. The other is in Times Square.

In the past few months, Fieri has opened 120 similar ghost kitchens for delivery only in 25 states and Washington, DC, according to the Times Union.

Fieri employees from Buca di Beppo on Wolf Road prepare food for Colonie Flavortown.

Flavortown’s menu includes Cajun Chicken Alfredo, Italian Stallion Salad, Jalapeno Pig Poppers, Roast Chicken Sandwiches, Burgers, Mac Daddy N Cheese, and Chocolate Whiskey Cake.

Appetizers cost $ 12.99 to $ 14.99.

Flavortown in Colonie can be delivered Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Contact Flavortown at guysflavortownkitchen.com.
