Eating places Ask New York State To “Save Our Servers” In Entrance Of The Metropolis Courthouse

Frustrated with the regulations enacted by New York State, restaurant owners involved in the lawsuit against the state voiced their concerns as they waited for the Supreme Court to make their decision.

The main argument about these restaurants comes from the COVID-19 numbers in Erie County. They say the governor has proven that there are more COVID cases in other parts of the state that are still pending.

“They tell us it’s safe to eat on the left side of the canal, but not the right. It tells us it’s safe to eat at 9:59 am, but not 10:01 am, ”says Tim Walton, Event Manager for Venu. “Is it science or is it just pulled out of thin air? And that seems to be the point. “

There are over 70 restaurants involved in this lawsuit against the state. If the judge rules in their favor, it means that they are allowed to open their doors. Other Erie County restaurants will have to wait for the Orange Zone restrictions to clear.
